Sadly, excessive underarm sweating is not something we usually like to talk about. Because of this, a lot of people are without any solution to this problem that they are challenged with. The thing is underarm sweating is a real life problem that many people are challenged with. The human underarms do have a larger concentration of sweat glands than most other areas of the body. A question that often occurs in some peoples mind is: Why am I sweating so much? Suffering from excessive sweating is a situation that millions of Americans and people world wide are suffering from on a daily basis.

From what we know at the moment there are between eight and ten million people in America who suffer from excessive sweating. There are probably a lot more since excessive sweating is not something we like to share. Not even with our doctors. The problem is at the same time growing and a higher number of people are experiencing this problem on a daily basis.

There are several reasons for why the sweat problem is growing. One is the lack of research in the area. Excessive sweating is not looked at as a serious problem enough to do research on.

The modern American lifestyle consists of a lot of bad food combined with a growing lack of activity and recreation. This is one of the most important reasons why the number of excessive sweaters is growing.

A different important modern problem is all the different cosmetic products we use. Soaps, deodorants, shampoo, body lotion. Many of these contain toxins and bacteria that irritate the skin. One of the most important jobs of our sweat glands is to help control our bacteria level.

If we want to reduce the level of sweating we experience every day it is necessary to look at alternative methods for hygiene as well as our diet and our activity level. By getting rid of the bacteria and toxins stored on our bodies and allowing the blood to flow smoother through our bodies we are closer to a more sweat free lifestyle.

When you eat five or six portions of food each day you will never go hungry. Have one third of each food group: proteins, carbs and vegetables/fruit. Each of the three groups should be about the size of a handful. With this measurement the portions will fit your body size.

Since you are now eating every two - three hour it is important that you plan your meals. It is always a good idea to make food twice the size of a recommended meal and store half of it for a later meal. It is also important that you have a backup meal for when it is hard to get hold on a portion of healthy food.

Proteins are the building blocks of your muscles. You need a good amount of proteins each day for your muscles to grow. You will find proteins in products like lean meats, fish, chicken, beans, lentils, grains, nuts or seeds. You can also us a protein shake to complement for the need of proteins.
