Brochure and Postcard Printing: Cheap Postcard Printing

by Jacques Di Salvia

Cheap postcard printing does not necessarily mean a product that is inferior in quality. Big and professional printing companies with sophisticated printing machinery can also provide cheaper services.

Several factors will dictate which process you choose to print your postcards. The budget you have allotted to this project will most likely be the determining factor. A few of the most popular options are; color, offset or digital printing.

Selection of print process alone can save half of your printing cost. If you need large number of copies but choose digital printing methods, your cost of printing will shoot up. Conventional offset should be the ideal choice for you. On the other hand, for a small run, digital printing should be preferred.

With increased volume, you will find that the individual unit costs will be lowered. Overhead costs are distributed over the number of printed copies. Therefore, a higher volume will enable your company to take advantage of the wholesale prices. Especially in today’s economy, many commercial and professional printers strive to offer improved quality with reduced amount of waste. Thereby, being able to offer you a more reasonable price.

Newer technologies enable the printing presses to cut down their cost components. For example, automation in the printing facilities or binding unit can bring down the overall production cost to a considerable extent. Digital imaging options, for example, has single handily reduced the cost of production by 10 to 15%. Advanced imaging technologies like computer to plates can eliminate the cost involved in films, negatives, positives, and other accessories. All these technologies require lesser manual involvement and directly reduce the cost to the company.

Experienced printing companies will know how to plan their print jobs while maintaining an efficient routine. Your costs will be lowered just by having them run similar jobs at the same time. This will save you money because the bulk of the production costs are distributed over the whole job and even if you don’t have a large quantity to be printed the savings will still be passed on to you.

The concept of globalization, in terms of a faster transport of goods and services across the countries, has played an important role in reducing cost of printing. Now you can get your postcards or any other printing material printed at a cheaper price from a country where the cost of printing is much less. You can transfer the design with a click of your mouse and they get printed exactly the way you want it, at a location thousand miles away.

For finding the most competitive prices for your cheap postcard printing the easiest way is to search the Internet. However, you must be sure with the quality of their printing. There is one more way in which you can effectively minimize the cost of printing your postcards. Some big printing facilities offer combinational prices for designing, printing, and mass mailing of your postcards. This also reduces the overall cost of printing the postcards.

Digital Signage: Consumers Want Control

Marketing No Comments
by David Little

A recent report from market researcher iSuppli reveals what anyone who uses the latest electronic gadgets intuitively knows. People love to touch screens, interact with technology and get the results they desire. From Apples popular iPods and iPhones to most of the GPS navigation devices on the dashboards of many cars on the road today, touch screens are becoming the de facto way folks like to interact with technology. Perhaps you have a friend like mine who is a control freak. If so, then this technology is just what the doctor ordered.

According to the iSuppli forecasts, vendors of the touch screen technology stand to reap the rewards of this consumer love affair. Consider this: worldwide shipments of touch-screen modules will reach 341 million units in 2008, or about $3.4 billion in value. In five short years, global shipments of touch-screen display modules will more than double to 833 million units.

I’ve often compared and contrasted television and digital signage in this space, usually pointing out the benefits of the latter, such as its ability to reach audiences at the point of purchase when they’re actually looking to spend money. Sadly, however, digital signage has the potential to suffer from the same tune out factor my friend integrates into his normal TV viewing. Without the right messaging, its possible that digital signage will blend into the background and fail to connect with its audience at the most opportune moment.

The cable TV industry has a good reason to push hard in developing this next generation of interactivity as companies like AT&T and Verizon roll out competitive offerings that push the interactive envelope.

When coupled with digital signage technology, such touch-screen sensors can transform ordinary linear digital signage content (in other words, a succession on visual and audio elements presented one after another) into dynamic, interactive content that lets the public seek out the information about a product they desire. Interactive digital signage combines the best of the kiosk world namely touch-screen interactivity- with the power of consistent messaging delivered when the sign operates in a traditional linear mode.

The significance of the iSuppli data is that it quantifies something we all intuitively know. People like to touch screens, interact with technology and get what they want. Look at the incredible success Apple Computers has had with the iPod, the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Those products have hit a nerve with the public. Simply touch a screen, interact with the interface and satisfy a desire.

Basically, such interactive, hybrid digital signs can playback messaging designed to attract the attention of passersby while in linear mode and with a simple the touch of screen be transformed into an interactive resource consumers can use to find the product information or other piece of information they desire.

To compete in the battle to influence the buying decisions of consumers, digital signage content producers soon will be forced to incorporate interactivity into their presentations just to stay competitive. Thats not to say all digital signage content must give consumers control over whats being presented. However, its hard to imagine a digital signage future in which interactive hybrid digital signs arent at the least added to the mix, delivering the interactive control over what consumers access.

To do otherwise is out of step with consumer expectations nurtured through a succession of technologies, including iPods, Blackberry devices, and GPS navigation units to name only a few, that put them in charge and promise that control is just a touch away.

Digital Signage: People Like Interactivity

Control tower, control grid, taking control, controlling interest, command and control, and even control freak. Nearly everywhere you look and everywhere you go, the name of the game is control. Whos in charge here, anyway? Perhaps you have a friend like mine who wants more control over his own destiny. The good news is that this new technology can give everyone more control.

When I question him about why the set is on, he never has a very definitive answer, just some nebulous comment about background noise. Without question, my friend and millions upon millions of other Americans- have found a way to tune out the endless stream of information, commercials and promotions and selectively focus in long enough if something arises to pique his interest.

Thus, it should be no surprise that when it comes to technology control is of paramount importance to consumer adoption and success. Look no further than the overwhelming popularity of Apple Computers iPod, iPhone and iPod Touch for some of most recent examples of the power of scratching that itch for control. And that desire to reach out, touch a screen and control a technology shows no sign of abating.

Fortunately, good news is at hand literally. A recent forecast from market research firm iSuppli shows that by 2013 global shipments of touch-screen display modules are expected to double, or 833 million units. By way of comparison, in 2008 worldwide touch-screen module shipments will reach 341 million units, about $3.4 billion in value, according to the research organization. At symposium in Los Angeles last month put on by the Society for Information Display, nearly 60 companies promoted their particular touch-screen sensor technology.

Fortunately for digital signage marketers, a variety of interactive technologies are being built into some of the latest digital signs available, delivering the same sort of touch-screen interface thats gaining broad popularity. Best of all, incorporating touch-screen technology into a digital sign is doubly powerful because doing so combines the best of the kiosk world with the strengths of digital signage.

In a nutshell, these interactive, hybrid digital signs can attract attention while in linear mode by playing back special offers or even something as basic as television programming and at the touch of one finger transition into an interactive mode in which a consumer can find the product information, electronic coupon or one of an endless list of info nuggets that are desired.

To ignore the message consumers are sending by their mass adoption of iPods, Blackberry devices, and GPS navigation units to name only a few, as well as the efforts of the cable and IPTV markets to elevate interactivity, doesnt make sense for digital signage marketers who wish to tap into the true potential of digital signage.

Unique Article Wizard Review

This weeks review in on an article submitter called Unique Article Wizard. UAW is a submitter that is a web based application. At first use the site is very user friendly. Someone with minimal computer skill and knowledge and easily navigate through the site and accomplish the required tasks needed to submit articles.

The unique feature of this article submitter wizard is that it will take an article that you write and turn it into hundreds if not thousands of unique articles. I know it sounds too good to be true, so let me explain how it works. First you write your article. Then you load it into the website. The more paragraphs the better, the system suggests 8 paragraphs.

Once you have the article loaded. The wizard will walk you through rewriting each paragraph 2 times. This gives you 3 different versions of each paragraph. This is how they create all the unique articles form just one. It mixes each of the different versions of each paragraph together to give you the same story but presented many different ways. It really works amazingly well. The new article versions still read very well and do not have a persona of being auto generated.

After rewriting all of the paragraphs you can add multiple reference boxes to each article. You can include back links with keyword anchor text to help your site achieve higher page rankings.

Once all the versions are created UAW takes and automatically submits these articles all over the web for you. To thousands of article sites. This entire process is hands off. You can choose to submit to all of them at once or to just a few a day, it’s up to you. The end result is tons of articles submitted all over the web.

When this review was written, I had 3 days prior written an article on Global Resorts Network vs EDC Gold and Carbon Copy Pro. Just 3 days later I held the number 1 spot on Google for the search term. “Global Resorts Network vs Carbon Copy Pro”. I would say it works very well.

Parenting Tips

Family, Marketing No Comments
by Joseph Then

You might disagree, but hear me out on this, raising children is one of the most challenging task on earth and for one who is not prepared. Once you bring home your child from the hospital’s baby ward, embrace yourself for the worst even if you think that you are very well prepared. Your life will change totally after you bring home your baby.

On the plus side, you will know that this is also the best and greatest job in the world even though it can really get onto your nerves at times. This piece of work will tell you more about parenting and make you more prepared for it and also for any situation that may arise.

Several experts have drawn out a distinct outline how it is in a child’s development for parents. Parents should set limitations, be consistent and also give positive remarks to your child. Parents are also advised to give the child space to discover their talents, self worth, esteem and improvement. So those are the guideline but how often does this come into play when we start parenting. This article will show you how.

Sometimes your boss gets on your nerve, there are a lot of deadlines to meet and you are feeling stress out over matters at work, it is easy to let go of all those frustrations out on your children when you are talking to them. We, as parents must remember to control our emotions because if we don’t it can affect the child’s development.

I am sure that most of us learn our parenting skills from the way we were raised, our observations and perceptions about our own parents manifest themselves when we ourselves become a parent. Often this can have devastating effects on our life and of course the lives of our children especially if we were brought up in less than ideal conditions.

Someone who had a bad childhood can be trap in a vicious cycle if they do not recognize the faults and mistakes in it and learn some skills to correct and overcome the situation. It is best if parents were to identify patterns of abuse and neglect and take necessary measures to stop it from happening.

Punishment and disciple are points worth highlighting about. Always have to remember that punish a child may result in obvious and immediate change in behaviour but the child maybe doing it out of fear, anger and withdrawal. In this case, punishment is more about controlling a child and let them live in fear rather than educating them what’s right and what’s wrong. Whereas for discipline it is more of telling a child that all actions they make or do have consequences and they are responsible for their own action as well. It is up to them to make the right choices.

I can’t stress this more than enough but parents should not be allowed to set great expectations that will burden the child’s mentality or even create fear. All children have curious mind. It’s their nature, let it grow and discover the world themselves. They should never be discouraged. Remember, forcing a child to do beyond their means is extremely damaging to a child’s development.

Now it’s time to start putting the parenting skills you have learnt above to the test. Parenting is not something that we should fear about. Follow your instincts and heart, most importantly, what you have learned. Put this into good use and you won’t be far in being a great parent.

Using Product Recommendations To Increase Your Bottom Line

Marketing No Comments
by Greg Wilson

In affiliate marketing, You’ve worked very hard for your earnings; luckily, there are many ways you can both increase and maintain them. Most of the techniques and tactics can be learned easily. No need to go anywhere and any further. They can be found on the web, all day, every day.

An important way to increase sales is by using product recommendations. Many marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways in promoting a certain product. If the customers or visitors trust you enough, then they will believe you. Be very careful in using this approach, though. If everything you promote is via recommendations, your actual self with truly show through. This is seen especially when recommendations are seemingly exaggerated and without much merit.

Do not be afraid to mention things that you do not like about a given product or service. Instead of losing some points for yourself, this will increase the credibility of both you and your recommendation. Furthermore, if your potential customers actually want to buy what you’re selling, they will be more than delighted to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good, and how the product will benefit them.

In the course of advising a specific product, When trying to work effectively and towards your advantage, there are a few things one must remember. Imagine yourself as the “guru” of your field. Don’t forget this easy equation: Price resistance is inversely proportional to trust. If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, There is more chance that they are going to buy the item. Alternatively if you don’t exude trust and confidence when recommending your products, Most likely they will agree and will look for different goods or services that are more credible.

How are you able to display such expertize? By proposing unmatched answers that would not be available anywhere else. It is essential that you provide proof that work you’ve promoted is done as promised. You want to display any positive feedback from well known people. in related fields of course. Avoid hype at all costs. Sounding low key and confident is better. than to scream and seek attention. Furthermore You don’t want to give would-be buyers the impression that you are amateurish. What say you now? Best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time.

And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are asking the experts to find out what the common person thinks. If you can push your ideas with something behind it, all of them would happily start out with a few hundred, or even thousands worth of money to your promotions. what happens if you don’t? they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering.

While pointing out the merits of a product, Handing out promotional samples is very beneficial. Offering freebies to promote your won products is a concept people are already very familiar. However only a select few do this to advertise affiliate products. Offering free items that promote or give information about your product or service help.

Before you add recommendations to your mix of promotions, it is given that you should try and test the product and customer support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Think back and remember how long it took to build up you’re credibility and trust with your customers. One huge mistake by you is the only thing necessary in order to ruin it.

Some Useful PPC Management Strategies

Marketing No Comments
by Maxine Stirling

When it comes to PPC (pay per click) advertising, it seems like the marketplace is getting continually more saturated and competitive, making it harder than ever to run a cost-effective campaign. This is true to some extent, but there are still ways to run a campaign that gets great ROI. Here are a few PPC bid management techniques you can utilize to do just that.

First of all, don’t get caught up in the moment and spend more than your budget allocates. This is probably the quickest and easiest way to erase any potential profit you might have brought in. PPC is a game of patience, and you must exercise it if you want to stick around long enough to reap the rewards. Remember that new players will always enter the game, and may get a bit carried away with their bids out of ignorance or lack of discipline. Don’t join in unless it is a very calculated decision. There are always fluctuations in the pay per click game, so you need to pick you spots.

The next thing you should do is forget about what ranking you are on a SERP (search engine results page). Bid an amount that you can afford, not for the spot you want. If you are in the top spot or the fifth spot, it doesn’t really matter. It is a good idea to try and get on the first page if you can, but beyond this you shouldn’t worry about it too much. Also, consider this: people click on the top spot without even thinking about it too much. This will lead to many clicks that have no chance of turning into conversions, drastically lowering your conversion rate and reducing your margins. Only bid for the top spot if you are the dominant player in your respective industry - or you wish to obtain this title, and realistically have the resources to do it.

Also, there is a technique called bid jamming that you might want to try. Basically, some PPC services have a visible bid system, meaning you can see the bids of all your competitors. Something you may not know is that your competitors don’t pay the price they bid for each click, but instead pay one cent higher than their next closest competitors bid. If you bid one cent lower than your next competitor, it will force him/her to pay full price for the bid, something that is hard to keep up for long.

Utilizing these three simple PPC bid management techniques can help you stand apart form your competitors and maximize your PPC campaign without overspending. This way, you can win the bidding ways the smart ways - without breaking your budget.

How to Build a Huge Opt-In Email List and Increase Your Profit

Marketing No Comments
by Daniel Hatcher

Many people just getting started in internet marketing do not realize the critical importance of building a quality opt-in mailing list. They think it is enough to be making sales from their salespage. While it is good to make sales directly from your site, you will lose a large percentage of your future customers if you fail to build an opt-in mailing list.

Having a list allows you to keep in touch with your site’s visitors and slowly build a relationship with them. If done properly, you can then convert a high percentage of otherwise lukewarm prospects into paying customers. So exactly what does it take to build a great opt-in list quickly and easily? Here are some useful tactics:

* Offer incentives when possible for people to leave their name and email address. Having an incentive program is an effective way to get people to opt into your list. Offering a special report or free e-book is a very effective and easy to implement. To get the best results, it is always helpful to give them something for signing into your list. This tip alone can easily double the number of sign ups you have.

I see many people trying to build a list without offering any kind of incentive for signing up which can be a huge mistake. Incentives are so easy to create that it only makes sense to offer one. Anything with a high-perceived value that you offer free will help boost signups significantly. I’ve test both ways of list building and I must say that offering incentives will give you far better results.

* Include a privacy policy. Many people do not opt-in is because they are afraid they will be spammed. Everyone abhors spam. Give your website visitor a guarantee that you will not share or sell their email address with anyone. This will make a huge difference in he number of opt-ins you receive.

* Create many tightly targeted lists. Few people understand the power of a targeted list. By offering different lists on one site you dramatically increase the chance for people opting into your list. One of the lists could be for periodic updates, another could include a tips letter that your market would find helpful, while another could be for a newsletter. No matter what they choose, you get their email address.

Think about what your market might be the most interested in and offer that information or access to it on your site. A visitor may have little interest in your general announcements mailings but be keenly interested in your newsletter. If you do not provided several options that person would have signed up for nothing. Two or three options are plenty. If your visitor has not found something that interests them in your two to three choices they are probably at the wrong page anyway.

* Make all your lists double opt-in. Double opt-in allows people to first sign up on your site, and then activate their subscription via a confirmation email. There are plenty of good reasons to have the double opt-in format. Number one, it will take away any chance of being labeled a spammer and secondly, you can show proof that people actually did request your emails.

An added benefit to you is that the double opt-in method will result in a list that is significantly higher quality than a singe opt-in list. If these people are interested in your offer enough to verify with the confirmation email, they tend to be much more serious and interested in what you have to offer.

By putting the methods mentioned in this article into practice on your website, you will be able to build a huge, high quality list in a relatively short period. I have used all of the methods mentioned here and they work very well. If you use them, you will find they will work for you as well.

Are You Letting Yourself Get Sucked Into The Price War Game?

Marketing No Comments
by Theo McLanahan

If you’re selling anything online, chances are you’ve got competition selling similar products. If you don’t have any competition, you’re either really lucky to have found an untapped niche, or you’re probably not selling much which is why nobody else is in that market.

If you have competition, how do you differentiate yourself from them? I hope it’s not based on price…

Competing on price alone is one of the worst things you can do. You’re leaving a lot of money on the table and you’re only going to have the best price until someone else comes along who’s willing to take less profit than you are.

Just ask all the small “Mom & Pop” stores that have been put out of business when Wal Mart came to town how that works.

There is always a way to offer something more or something different than your competition.

If you’re selling an infoproduct, what else could you add to it to make the product more attractive? Maybe an audio version of an ebook, or a physical package with a printed book and the audio version on CD. Or even some extra bonuses that your competition doesn’t have.

Or if you’re selling a physical product, maybe you can include a “how to use it” guide that you write yourself. Or some instructional videos if that makes sense for the product.

Incidentally, this is one of the biggest problems I see with most of the private label rights product offers for internet marketers.

You know the ones - you get an ebook, graphics, sales page and ready-to-post website each month, just waiting for you to post it on the net and start raking in the cash.

Well, the trouble is everyone else who has a membership to that PLR site gets the same thing. Even if there are only 10 other people who actually use a given product, you’re going to have 10 competitors selling the same product with the same website, graphics and sales copy.

And how do they usually compete?

Price.

Now there’s nothing wrong with these PLR packages, but if you just post them up unchanged, you’re fooling yourself if you think you’re going to make a lot of money.

Get some new graphics made. Rewrite the sales letter a bit. Add a couple of bonuses to the PLR package.

Make yours stand out from the crowd. In fact, make it so it’s unrecognizable as the same product.

Quit taking the lazy route and using price as your competitive advantage. You’ll make more money and you’ll make it much harder for someone to come into the market and beat you at your own game.
