With the cost of just commuting to work, I was in a situation where it looked like I would have to move the family and relocate, or find a job closer to where we live. With some pretty serious implications becoming apparent with my current situation, I went online and found out about the hydrogen conversion kits that are available now. I found that there are not only the hybrid cars that integrate the use of hydrogen in their fuel system, but you can also get a do it yourself kit now which means that you can invest a small cost, install the thing yourself and then start saving on fuel costs pretty quickly. When it comes to buying anything online, I am majorly old fashioned. I have troube even buying a book on Amazon, thats how scared I am of it. So if I was going to even think of investing in any sort of “DIY guide” then I was going to do some research first. To see what other’s experiences have been like with. Are you struggling to pay the rising price of gas at the moment, well you are certainly not alone, just 12 weeks back, I was pretty much digging into my savings in my attempt to keep up the cost of fuel, thinking that it may be a fluctuation and that it would settle back down.

I always, always research something, if I decide to break out from my old fashioned ways and actually want to invest in something over the internet. So I did some pretty thorough research on the term hydrogen conversion car kits in Google, and looked at articles, blogs and forum threads on the subject. The feedback seemed pretty good, so I felt safe about it. Feeling like my research had found some positive feedback on, I decided to go out and choose one of the DIY guides and go for it.

I found a good site that did a comparison of all the different guides, there are quite a few, and I chose what was apparently the best one. I think another thing that actually allowed me to overcome my internet paranoia and just go ahead and invest in the guide, was the fact that it was very heavily advertised as having an 8 week refund. It was also sold through a company called ClickBank, and they are apparently a very reputable no nonsense organization. If you have any problems with the vendor, my friends who are more internet savvy than I, tell me that you can simply deal with ClickBank and get a refund. On downloading the ebook guide, I found that it was really laid out quite well, and I thought that the whole process seemed quite simple. I was pretty glad after all that, I must say.

Upon reading through the ebook, I was really happy to find that the stuff needed to make the hydrogen car conversion kit was going to be pretty basic. A lot of stuff that you would use around the house. Most of the parts needed to create the conversion kit, are easily found at your local hardware store. In fact in my case I had a lot of tubing and valves that I could use that were already just lying around the house. In terms of putting the thing together, I would say that overall it was pretty easy, and I am not exactly a DIY kind of person, my wife would definitely have to agree with you there, lol. The customer support was really good for the product that I bought, despite hearing a bit of bad stuff on the net about it prior to buying the guide.

Looking at the system from the perspective of someone who is not particularly knowledgable when it comes to DIY stuff, I would have to say that on the most part the kit was pretty easy to put together. There were one or two things that I got a little bit stuck on, but the customer service was really good for the guide that I bought, and they got me through any hiccups pretty via email. I really suggest for anyone who is wanting to buy a guide and install the kit that you make yourself a day when you can just focus on getting it done, no distractions. Turn off the phone, send the kids to a friend’s house if you can, and just really get down to it. At the end of the day of setting up the kit, I have to tell you that I was filthy, smelly and I had one hell of an aching back. But despite all that I was really anxious and excited to get it going and test it out. It was time to turn the ignition and see was this baby could do.

After starting her up, and giving it a few good revs, I was pretty happy to find that 1, the car was intact and had not blown up with me inside it. And 2, seemed to actually be running quite well, actually sounding really clean and healthy, and not struggling to find power or anything like that that I had feared. Obviously I needed to do a bit more thorough testing, so I pulled out of the driveway, and headed for a spin out on the town.

I must say that it was pretty exciting having this thing set up. It kind of added a whole new level to what is normally just driving. The results from my little test drive, where quite impressive, the car seemed to be running just fine, in fact really good. After using the converted engine for quite some time now, I can say that the results are even more impressive than originally thought. As far as actual money that I am saving on fuel, its just fantastic. I have been saving around the 60 quid a week for the last few months on fuel, added up over the whole year, that is just huge for us.

Since using the system now for three months or so, I have saved over a thousand pounds on fuel costs, the impact that this has had on my family budget has been such a godsend. Using the system throughout the next few years is literally going to save me thousands. I am just so glad that I made the choice to install it. On top of the amazing amount of dosh that I have saved using the kit, I feel really good about it in terms of the environmental aspect aswell. I am not a really big environment buff or anything, but I am aware of the current state of the planet, and how our driving has a massive impact on it. Also, with the oil situation the way it is, we are going to start running out of resources pretty soon, and this is just going to keep pushing up the cost of fuel. you think its high right now, I bet you that in just a couple of years, it will have skyrocketed even further than it has already. This makes the idea of hydrogen fuel conversion very, very appealing, and I am sure I am not alone when I say that.
