People or enthusiasts can be leveled into three; 1) beginners 2) frequent gamers 3) experts. These three are bound to one arena where they will meet: the gaming world.
These people have their own questions in mind and are trying to personally find out the answers to their questions.
For a beginner, the question may be something like; what will I do with this game? This question may seem very simple but needs patience to answer. Such question would change and would elevate as time goes by and as the ability of the player improves. Playing more and more games is not their cup of tea; rather they try to translate it. They grasp the game so well enough that they try mastering the game and then publish some essays or reviews about the games and do comparisons.
Comparison of a video game device becomes very important for all the three categories of gamers. This helps them grasp whichever game they are playing. On a further note, reviews and the comparisons always help the gamers in the right way to know about games that are actually worth getting and also about the best gaming consoles available.
One may wonder as how these gamers get ideas on reviews and the tasks they perform in order to write reviews of games. There are certain methods which one follows to get a result on comparison of gaming consoles. A brief list of certain things that may be looked upon while comparing gaming consoles is given below.
The very first thing that one must do is to play the video game itself. Play it until you finish the video game. If it is a leveled game then play it until the last level.
One should observe the graphics, audio and other such features and abilities of the game to share with the people to read his review and should relate the physical observations to the readers.
Relate to the readers the basic information that they need to know about the certain game. They will probably need to know about the console compatibility, the release date of the game, the name, the publisher, the platform, etc. For pc games, it is very important to first relate to the reader the system specification requirement of the game. Try to inflict your own observation on it.
The readers should be provided with some details of the game. In case of a racing game, the readers must be given the genre of the game with some basic details. These days, different types of PC games and video games could be easily found in the market with different methods of playing and multiplayer support. All these type of facts must be included in the reviews.
Give your opinion in the sense that they will agree with you when they will try the game you are comparing. There are so many things that you may want to point out in the game. The scoring system, the level of difficulty, the length of the game and so on, these are just examples of things that you may critic.
One must try comparing the game with some other game of the same sort based on the same playing technique. It is always better is the game he compares with is a game that he has already played before and is not new to him. The positive and negative points and features about the game must be laid properly based on the comparison.
On a last note, the conclusion must be properly laid in a balanced way. One may refer to the game that is really good to play but the positive points of the other game must also be referred. There should not be a one sided conclusion.
