Is It Possible To Watch TV And Be Healthy?
May 10, 2008 5:12 am HealthWhen we think of the words “sedentary lifestyle,” what comes to mind are images of obese people slumped on the sofa, watching TV and eating a whole bag of potato chips all day.
Watching TV does get a bad rap these days, doesn’t it? Health experts everywhere claim that the hours spent watching TV could instead be used for practices that could prolong life instead of shorten it, such as exercising. Even business gurus see TV as one of the biggest income reducers in society today!
It’s true that TV contributes to the rise of obesity in populations all over the world today. The more time is spent in front of the TV, the more time is spent sitting down, and the less steps being taken. When all the unspent calories add up, the individual becomes obese, and suffers other medical conditions.
But is it really such a bad thing to watch TV?
Some people have incorporated watching TV with their exercise regimen. We see people watching TV while walking on the treadmill or pedaling on the exercise bike. Others watch health and wellness programs on TV which promotes healthier lifestyle at home.
I’ll have to agree with these individuals on that statement - watching TV can be healthy, but only if you come out of it healthier and happier.
And what better way to come out of a TV session healthier and happier by practicing one of my programs?
The simple exercises in most of my programs can be done while eating breakfast, while driving, while working, and believe it or not, while watching TV. The truth is, it would be better to do the exercises while watching TV so that they become second nature to you.
Best of all, the results of my programs are permanent. You can reduce your weight, cure your TMJ and headaches, and even improve your sex life.
All while in front of the TV, isn’t that great?
Browse my list of available programs and take your pick. You won’t believe the great things that my customers have experienced while working on my programs - it’s probably the single most helpful purchase they’ve made in their entire lives.
So stop looking at the boob tube as a guilty pleasure and turn it into something that could change your life for the better for good!
Warm regards,
Christian Goodman
